Product Review Policy

About Product Reviews

We have worked hard to produce quality products for our customers.  We appreciate feedback, good and bad, and encourage others to share their opinions.  Customer reviews are meant to provide product feedback and information to other shoppers based on the experience of customers who have used our products. We want you to share feedback, but require that you avoid using reviews as a platform, or a way to manipulate or otherwise mislead shoppers. We have a policy of zero tolerance for any review that does not meet our guidelines. Reviews should focus on the reasons behind the given rating to help others decide if the product is right for them or not.

Our review mechanism uses both manual and automated processes to remove reviews which violate our review guidelines.  All reviews that violate our guidelines will be removed.  The determination of violation is at the sole discretion of Bup Labs, LLC.  By posting content, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Here are a few examples of reviews that we won't allow:

• An unhappy shopper attempts to review bomb by posting multiple negative reviews for the same product
• Anyone who receives money to post a review
• A review from a person who never purchased the product
• Multiple posts from the same person for the same product (happy or not)
• A review of the product in exchange for a refund or new product
• A review that violates the community guideline
• Self promotion or advocating content unrelated to our products

Eligibility

To post product reviews, you must have made a purchase in the last 6 months for the product you are reviewing.  You do not have to meet this requirement to read reviews.  You may not post reviews on behalf of someone else who made the purchase.

Relevance

The point of a review is to share relevant information related to a given product, your experience, and the performance in regards to your expectations.  Content you post should be based on your honest experience and opinions.

• Customer Reviews should be about the product.
• Feedback regarding your particular shipment, should only be posted when relevant to the product itself.
• Comments about pricing, product availability, or other methods of acquisition should be addressed through support.
• Confidential information, such as correspondence between customers and Bup Labs, is not allowed.

Respect

Bup Labs values your opinion, but you may disagree or be offended by some customer content that you come across. Just because you disagree with it does not mean it violates our guidelines.  In order to be fair, we require a certain level of decorum when posting to our site.  If we detect disrespectful messaging we will remove the review.

We will not allow posts that involve any of the following:

• Posts that are libelous, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or inflammatory.
• Posts with profanity.
• Posts showing indifference to race, nationality, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, or disabilities
• Content that is pornographic, lewd, or sexual in nature.
• Any content that exposes others' privacy. For example, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, or other personal information.
• Trying to impersonate someone or falsely representing an organization you are not affiliated with.
• Requests to other people.
• Attempts to drown out other people's opinion.
• Name-calling or personal attacks on other reviewers.
• URL's to other sites or internet based resources (files, etc.)
• Promotions unrelated to our products

Infringement of Intellectual Property

Don't post content acquired from other sources.  Do not perform actions that infringes the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of others. Only post your own original content.

Illegal Content

Do not post anything that solicits or supports behavior that is illegal, including but not limited to:

• Violence
• Fraud
• Drug use
• Underage drinking
• Child or animal abuse

Any such post will not be allowed and will be reported to the authorities.

Additional Guidelines

The following guidelines also apply to any product review:

• If your review is not posted, is rejected, or is removed because it does not comply with these rules, you may not resubmit another review for the same product, even if the content differs.
• Customers may not post multiple reviews for the same product.
• We reserve the right to restrict certain users from posting reviews if we detect unusual or malicious behavior.
• URLs or links are only allowed to pages hosted by Bup Labs.

Reporting Inappropriate Content

If for some reason content has been posted that you feel is in violation of these guidelines or is otherwise inappropriate, you can report it for review.  To do so, click on the "Report as Inappropriate" link towards the bottom right of the review in question.  We will review the content manually to ensure it meets with the above policy and guidelines.  You may also contact support@buplabs.com with any additional related details you wish to share.

Use of Material

Any content posted by you can be used by Bup Labs as desired.  No compensation will be granted for any content you provide.  By posting here, you agree that the content becomes the possession of Bup Labs, LLC and you forfeit any copyright or other rights over the material.  Bup Labs may use this material in whole or in part, as necessary per the terms of the Bup Labs privacy policy.  Bup Labs is under no obligation to notify you of said usage unless it is affected by the aforementioned privacy policy.
