Mount Spacing Guide

BUP Labs makes a number of different mount options from generic mounts to specific mounts for saddle brands with built-in accessory connections. How these will fit a particular saddle varies. Use this page as a guide to help determine the fit on your saddle and available space for saddlebags, etc..

  • Each column shows the general spacing for each supported kit combination.
  • Bryton, Garmin Varia, and Magene radars all have similar positioning so only the Garmin device is shown.
  • If a space is empty, it means there are no supported configurations for the mount base and device combination.
  • All measurements are taken from the center of the rails on a generic saddle.
  • Actual positioning will vary slightly depending on the rail shape, positioning of the saddle on the seat post, and variations in various OEM saddle specific mounting interfaces.
  • Extensions can be used to extend the spacing by 25 mm (1 in) or 35 mm (1.5 in) (sold separately)
  • Chaining extensions together is not supported and voids the warranty.
