The Universal Mount System™ (UMS™) allows for a wide range of accessories to be mounted to your bike. The goal of the system is to bring the device(s) into an optimal position for visibility to improve operation and safety. Bup UMS mounts can be attached in a variety of ways, including direct mount models for select brands of saddles.
The UMS uses indexed mount arms that fit together in a modular fashion. Each connector uses a standardized fitting that has an index every 10 degrees. The combination of mount styles and arms, allows for flexible configurations to meet each rider's need.
Pick a mount style: seat post clamp, saddle clamp, or saddle brand direct mount
Attach an arm that is compatible with your desired accessory
Attach the mount to the seat post, saddle, or bike rack, and attach your accessory
Use the Sizing Template to cut out each mount and arm of interest. Next, hold the cutouts up to the mount position on the bike to accurately estimate where the mount point will be positioned. Cut out extensions and tape them to the mount and arm cutouts as needed. This will help you easily determine how mounted accessory will be positioned.
