This 2nd Generation Bup mount for Topeak Beamrack MTX bike racks will attach a Garmin Varia in place of the OEM reflector. It is designed to match the style of the Beamrack and not interfere with the quick release functionality of the rack. The mount will securely position a Garmin Varia for optimal visibility and operation free and clear of the items on the bike rack.
NOT COMPATIBLE WITH VARIA MODEL RCT715 (Radar + Camera)
Made in USA
This mount is intended for use with bicycles used on paved or relatively smooth unpaved surfaces. Our mounts can be used with electric bikes up to class 3. ASTM International standard F2043-13.
2nd Generation Improvements
We switched from the previous quarter-turn insert to the thicker and more durable standard Garmin quarter-turn insert. This insert is stronger and able to absorb greater loads and is directly compatible with the OEM version.
Like our standard Garmin Varia mount arms, we added a tab at the bottom to help mitigate the torsional loads on the quarter-turn insert. This makes the mount even more reliable than the previous generation.
This mount will accomodate all Garmin Varia models except the radar/camera Varia RCT 715.
All BUP mounts are manufactured and hand assembled in the USA
