This mount arm can be used with any GoPro compatible bike mount. It allows the secure attachment of Garmin devices to any third party or current Bup UMS mount. This arm is specifically designed with the Garmin Varia in mind. It uses a hook and rubber ring to prevent the rotation caused by offset battery in the Varia that can cause the radar to twist release under heavy side loads.
The mount arm is designed for Varia models RTL510, RTL515, and RVR315. It will also work with the original rectangular Varia, but the rubber ring cannot be used.
A safety tether is recommended with all mounts and mount arms.
