4th Generation Improvements

Anatra locknuts

Based on community voting, we replaced all nuts with locknuts to eliminate the need for threadlocker and ensure screws can't loosen.

Anti-slip pads have been integrated into the mount. They are tough and remain carbon rail safe. The back of the clamp also includes a new tab that keeps the body and clamp in alignment for improved grip. Anatra clamp pads and alignment tab
Anatra neck improvements The neck joint has been strengthened by 50% over the previous generation. It can better withstand accidental sideway impacts that catch the device or neck.
The neck has been thickened and reshaped to accommodate larger devices with bigger footprints and weight. Anatra neck changes
Reduced device rotation The new Garmin arm paired with the Anatra moves the center of gravity below the rotational point. This means the Varia applies less torque on the quarter-turn insert and will be less likely to rotate under heavy impacts.

Saddle Compatibility

To check your saddle's compatibility with the Anatra, measure the width between the rails.  The width must be between 35 mm (1-3/8") on the inside, and 70 mm (2-3/4") on the outside.  The rails can be round or oval and must be between 6.5 and 10 mm thick.  You must have approximately 25 to 35 mm (1" - 1.5") of clearance between the mount point and the bottom of the saddle.  The back center top of the saddle must be clear of obstructions in this area (such as large logo plates - we are looking at you Selle...  :)
