Mount your Garmin Varia where it has the best view of the road using this add-on mount arm kit.
This add-on mount arm kit uses the standard quarter-turn connector used by all models of Varia radars except the RCT715 (See Garmin RCT715 kit). This kit includes everything needed to attach your Varia to the supported mounts. Includes a safety tether kit.

Features of the GoPro to Garmin Varia TC Arm
 |
Our quarter-turn inserts are the same as the Garmin OEM quarter-turn inserts. These inserts are thicker and harder to flex but unfortunately much more expensive to manufacture. That is why virtually all 3rd party computer and Varia mounts on the market use these inexpensive inserts with two holes for flat head screws. They are thinner and, as we learned, more prone to failure. |

| Our mount arms have a tab at the bottom of the arm to brace the Varia and limit the torque on the quarter-turn. This has a greater affect on the RTL 510 and 515 due to their length and offset battery weight. While inserts are sacrificial, this design feature also helps to lengthen the life of the insert. |  |

The arm places the pivot point above the Varia. This helps to counteract the pivoting due to having the weight below the mount connection point. This means less force is required when tightening the arm to prevent unwanted rotation from potholes and general vibrations. |
